Oneforwall, founded by Saygun Erkaraman and Natali Erkaraman in Istanbul, 2013 is a new generation art & design studio focusing on art products and limited edition art prints. The studio opened its doors with its very first collection “A Piece Of Outside” and now is located in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
A Piece Of Outside
The typography photography collection “A Piece Of Outside” by Saygun Erkaraman, reconstructs typographic details taken from different European cities namely, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Cannes, Istanbul, Munich and Prague, through out a new context and a unique point of view. A retouching technic that’s been used with each image aims to put the texture of each indiviual surface that the typeface is installed more upfront so it allows the looking eye to make the connection with space and the type.
